Ever since I was small, I have enjoyed creating something new. Whether it was designing a room using an old shoebox and my mom’s scrapbook paper, painting a canvas to decorate my dorm room, or creating cards to give to friends and family on their birthdays, I have loved using art and creativity as means to express myself. I began to teach myself hand lettering in high school and after years of perfecting different styles, I started fusing my lettering with my mom’s art. 707 Mercer Designs is a way for me to continue to utilize art as a therapeutic outlet while also sharing what I create with others.
